General Moving Carriers as well as this office are both deeply troubled by recent personal attacks upon the reputation and quality of General Moving Carriers' services. In particular, recent false statements have surfaced and are posted upon the Google Review website. Any and all such statements, posted by anonymous internet content providers, are false, considered defamatory and all facts contained therein are simply denied.
General Moving considers itself a company which is "Internet-informed" regarding wrongful slanderous and defamatory conduct by individuals which has become known and referred to as "defamatory cybersmear". General Moving employees regularly monitor the Internet and pertinent chat rooms and message boards where General Moving is likely to be mentioned.
In order to combat "defamatory cybersmear", General Moving employs an aggressive policy to institute civil litigation against internet content providers [individuals and companies alike], which civil litigation addresses the wrongful campaign by internet content providers conveying false information by and through the use of the Internet. In doing so, General Moving targets and includes as named defendants - fictitious "John Doe" parties - and therewith issues court ordered subpoenas directed at Internet service providers [such as Google] in order to unmask the anonymous "online critic" responsible for posting the false information. Once the anonymous "online critic" is identified, the "online critic(s)" is/are then included within the underlying litigation which civil action seeks certain and various forms of relief, State and Federal included, as well as compensatory and punitive damages, litigation costs and attorneys fees.
After exercising its due diligence in connection with the Google Review, it has been determined that the allegations made by "John D [previously John P], John P and Jeanne" are patently false, amounting to nothing less than "defamatory cybersmear" and as such shall be addressed accordingly. General Moving continues to take the wrongful practice of "defamatory cybersmear" extremely serious and is prepared to initiate any and all civil litigation actions necessary in order to enforce its legal rights and remedies for the sake and purpose of preserving its rightful impeccable reputation within the moving industry.
